Colorectal Cancer Screening: How Mayo Clinic Exceeds 80%

This webinar will be hosted by a team of Mayo Clinic physicians and researchers to outline strategies that can be replicated by other providers and which helped Mayo Clinic achieve a colorectal cancer screening rate of 82.2% last year. The presentation highlights will include the importance of seamless integration between providers, patients and populations. Presenters will also address the available screening options and messages offered to patients who were due for screening, as well as the measures used to track compliance. Presenters will include Dr. Paul J. Limburg, Dr. Rajeev Chaudhry, Dr. Joseph W. Furst, Dr. Lila J. Rutten and Dr. Jordan M. Kautz.

The intended audience for this webinar are physicians, nurses and other practice staff involved in primary care quality improvement. Free CEUs will be offered in conjunction with this event.

The American Cancer Society, the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Cancer Alliance have partnered to host a series of webinars featuring presentations from medical practices and providers that have had success increasing their colon cancer screening rates. The intention is for medical practices and providers to learn from other clinicians.
