MN Community Measurement was recently awarded a Regional Data Center Collaborative planning grant from the Center for Healthcare Transparency (CHT).
Grants were awarded to 14 regional organizations to lay the groundwork for making meaningful information on health care cost and quality available to half of Americans by 2020.
Through the 18-month grant, MNCM will collaborate with other regional healthcare improvement organizations to identify common standards and best practices for data collection, management, integration, analysis and publication of cost and quality data. These standards will be the foundation to future CHT projects to implement these strategies nationally.
