MNCM Seeking Workgroup Participants for New Cancer Care Measure

MNCM is eager to start measure development in the area of cancer care, particularly regarding symptom management during chemotherapy and/or radiation. This new area of development is exciting because of the potential impact to address an area of measurement that is currently lacking, as well as its alignment with our continued focus on specialty care measures and patient reported outcomes.

Recruitment of workgroup members runs through January 30, 2015. There will be three to five workgroup meetings beginning in March 2015, each lasting about two hours.

We are currently seeking participants to represent the following stakeholder groups:

  • Clinical providers – physicians and allied health providers (6 to 8)
  • Data analyst (1)
  • Quality improvement professional or clinical administrator (1)
  • Health plan representatives (2)
  • State Agency – MDH/DHS (1)
  • Consumer (1)
  • Employer (1)

Information is available on MNCM’s measure development process, the expectations of workgroup participants and Cancer Care Measure Impact Document.

If you are interested in participating or would like to nominate someone, please complete this form. Thank you for your interest!
