"The two words ‘information’ and ‘communication’ are often used interchangeably, but they signify quite different things. Information is giving out; communication is getting through." -- Sydney J. Harris

New Online Resource Supports Recovering from Depression

A new online resource, called the Help and Healing toolkit, brings together easy-to-use depression tools and information for patients and health care providers – helping individuals better understand and manage their care and treatment goals. The materials – including patient and provider talking points, treatment planning, self-management techniques, and information to help providers measure treatment outcomes – were developed by a working group of clinicians and related experts, including patient advocates and employer representatives.

Help and Healing is the result of a collaborative effort between MN Community Measurement, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care through public reporting and measurement, and the Minnesota Health Action Group, a non-profit coalition of public and private employers looking to improve the value of the health care system in Minnesota, by focusing on higher quality, lower cost and better health outcomes for all.
