MNCM Annual Seminar 2018

The largest quality measurement event in the region, this seminar is designed for a variety of individuals involved in health care quality measurement, reporting, analyzing and using clinical quality, health care cost or patient experience information to meet a variety of needs, requirements and to improve care.

MNCM named as CMS Qualified Entity

MN Community Measurement has been named as a Qualified Entity (QE) by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Created as part of the Affordable Care Act, the Medicare Data Sharing for Performance Measurement Program allows organizations to combine Medicare claims data from CMS with claims data from other payers to evaluate the performance of providers, services, and suppliers.

This will enable access to data on an additional 700,000 Minnesota Medicare patients. Previously, the Medicare data for MNCM has been limited to patients enrolled in the Medicare Advantage Plans and the QE program will add the non-health plan Fee For Service enrollees.

MNCM is one of 11 QEs in the nation helping CMS improve quality, reduce costs, provide important information to beneficiaries to help them make health care decisions, and increase transparency.
