MNCM Cancer Measures Pilot Kick-off Meeting
May 10, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
MN Community Measurement (MNCM) is beginning the pilot testing process of new measures for oncology related to symptom control during chemotherapy. We are seeking volunteers to participate in the pilot. Oncology practices and medical groups who have oncologists overseeing the administration of chemotherapy are encouraged to participate and attend this in-person, brown bag lunch meeting. A webinar option will be available for those groups outside of the metro area.
There are many benefits to participating in a pilot project, such as providing feedback for the modification of measure specifications, the ability to have baseline data prior to wide-spread implementation, and the opportunity to gain experience in the measurement activity. Pilot dates of service start July 1, 2016.
Participation is voluntary and all results used to analyze the measures’ validity, reliability and feasibility will be blinded and not publicly reported.
If you are interested and/or plan to attend the meeting and have not previously indicated your intent, please complete this brief survey.
